1. Open your Outlook app on your PC.

2. Navigate to your Account Information page by clicking on file in the upper left of the window.

3. Click on Add account.

4. Next you will select Manual setup or additional server types, and then select next.

5. Select Pop or IMAP option, then select Next.

6. Next you will select one of the two options for the mail server type: IMAP or POP, details are provided for (SSL) or (NON-SSL)

For this example, POP3 is chosen with (SSL) and (NON-SSL). Skip to step 20 for IMAP with (SSL) and (NON-SSL) setup.

Populate the fields below:
- Your name
- Email Address
- Account Type "POP3" for Secure mail (SSL)
- Incoming/Outgoing Mail server – Example (Web140.Cyberlynk.net)
- Logon Information: Username/Password
- Select Remember Password
- Click on More Settings

7. Click Outgoing Server, and then click the check box for “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Next click Advanced.

8. Enter the Incoming (995) and Outgoing (465) server ports. Click the checkbox “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL), and select SSL for “Use the following type of encrypted connection”. Click Ok to move on.

9. Click Test Account Settings.

10. Ensure both Tasks show a Completed Status and click Close.

11. Click Next.

12. Your POP3 using (SSL) email account has been setup, click finish to complete setup:

13. Setup for POP3 (NON-SSL):
  • Your name
  • Email Address
  • Account Type “POP3” for Non-Secure mail (NON-SSL)
  • Incoming/Outgoing Mail server – Example(mail.exampledomain.tld)
  • Logon Information: Username/Password
  • Select Remember Password
  • Click on More Settings

14. Click Outgoing Server, and then click the check box for “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Then click Advanced.

15. Enter the Incoming (110) and Outgoing (465) or (25) server ports. Select None for "Use the following type of encrypted connection". The Sever Timeouts and Delivery are per Outlook default, change if needed, or click Ok to move on.

16. Select Test Account Settings:

17. After the test runs make sure the status shows completed for both tasks and click close:
