Once you have downloaded and installed the Offsite Backup Client, you will get the initial setup screen. Leave the Backup Server name as DataVault.CyberLynk.net, put in your username and password, and re-enter your password. Under Security Values, it is recommended that you select Use my logon password as the secret key. backup_setup01.png If you decide to select set a special secret key to encrypt my files, it is recommended that you use the optional hint. VERY IMPORTANT, DO NOT FORGET YOUR SPECIAL SECRET KEY. WE CANNOT RETRIEVE YOUR PASSWORD OR YOUR DATA!!!! backup_setup02.png Once your information is entered correctly click on the test connection button. backup_setup03.png You should get a pop up telling you congratulations, the connection to the server was successful. backup_setup04.png You have setup your Offsite BackUp Client and are ready to start your backup.
